January is usually my least favorite month. The holidays (and in my case, a lot of vacation days from my day job) are over and January is just blah and cold. The cure for this in 2020 was to schedule a nearly 2-week vacation to Florida to get us through most of the month.
Some of those who have never been to Walt Disney World (or Disneyland) may be surprised to find out that it really is a foodie’s paradise. Snack carts, bakeries, food kiosks, quick service restaurants, full service restaurants, bars, lounges, and ice cream parlors are around every corner it seems. In this post I’m going to reminisce about some of snacks and drinks are on most recent trip during the Christmas season.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is located in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), a shopping, restaurant, and entertainment district on Walt Disney World property that does not require a ticket for entry. (On our most recent visit in April, I barely recognized Disney Springs. So many new stores and restaurants since our last visit made it resemble an outlet mall in some parts. Only when we found the World of Disney store did it start to look like the Disney Springs of old.)
We visited Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in 2016, right before we boarded Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas cruise ship for our spring vacation.
