Star Wars: Galactic Nights returns on May 27, 2018 to coincide with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story to theaters.
It’s time for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! It started on February 28th and goes through May 28th this year. Outdoor food kiosks, Garden Rocks Music Series, Disney topiaries, kids play areas, special merchandise, and an egg scavenger hunt are the features of the festival. We went last year for the first time and loved it.
Edna Mode is coming to the Magic Kingdom!? What the what? It’s part of The Incredibles Take Over Tomorrowland, starting this summer. Also look forward to The Guardians of the Galaxy partying in Epcot, and Donald Duck takes over Dinoland, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. More details to come soon.
A new bird show featuring Dug and Russell from Up will replace Flights of Wonder at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park this year. (We’re personally excited for this change!) It’s called Explorers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure. It opens April 22nd.
Party for the Planet will start on Earth Day April 22nd and run through May 5th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens on June 30th. Fast passes are now available for Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party tickets are now on sale.
Pixar Fest started on April 13th at Disneyland, and runs through early September. With it comes a new fireworks show, “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” and the Pixar Play Parade.
A lot of new changes for Downtown Disney. Splitsville Luxury Lanes just opened, and a new craft brewery will open later this year. Also the Disney Home just opened.
Summer of 2018 will also bring big changes to Disney’s California Adventure. Paradise Pier will be called Pixar Pier, and California Screamin’ will transform into the Incredicoaster (themed to The Incredibles). Toy Story and Inside Out Neighborhoods will be added, along with a general Pixar neighborhood. Mickey’s Fun Wheel will get a new look. Ariel’s Grotto and the Cove Bar will be transformed into a new lounge and eatery.
The new Fast & Furious Supercharged ride is now in soft opening.
Halloween Horror Nights packages are now available! A Stranger Things maze promises to be the most popular this year. (We’re going this year! We can’t wait!!)
