Disney After Hours has added new dates from December 2018 – March 2019. This is a special ticketed event that allows guests into the Magic Kingdom with little to no wait times for rides. Snacks and drinks are also included. (Extra cost)
There are also new Disney After Hours events for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well. Both of these new events are on select dates into April 2019. (Extra cost)
Artist Point restaurant, located inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, will transition to a character meal featuring Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy beginning December 16th. (With an appearance by the Evil Queen.)
Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land inside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now available on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Explore Toy Story Land with little to no wait times, and breakfast is included. (Extra cost)
The Candlelight Processional narrators have been announced. New this year is John Stamos and Robby Benson.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts returns January 18th and runs until February 25th. There will be a Disney on Broadway Concert Series each day at the America Gardens Theatre stage during the festival.
Ralph and Vanellope from Ralph Breaks the Internet will begin greeting guests at Innoventions West in Epcot starting November 21st.
Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party is a new party within a party – Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to be exact. The experience begins at 9:30pm where you can indulge in hors d’oeuvres and desserts, along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. At 11pm you will have access to a reserved viewing area for the parade. (Extra cost)
Minnie Van Shuttle service is now available from Orlando International Airport and your Walt Disney World resort.
The Disney Festival or Holidays is back at Disney California Adventure Park. It runs November 9th – January 8th.
Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel and White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel are undergoing refurbishments and will reopen in 2019.
Ralph and Vanellope from Ralph Breaks the Internet will be greeting guests in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure park starting November 9th.
The Christmas season at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure kicks off November 17th and goes through January 6th. This includes Universals’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s running each evening, and Mannheim Steamroller concerts on select nights. Dr. Suess fans will love the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular running each day (multiple times) at Islands of Adventure. And of course, for all of the Harry Potter fans, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be fully decked out for the holidays with exclusive food and entertainment, along with the popular Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show.
Loews Portofino Bay hotel at Universal Orlando will host Holiday Harbor Nights on November 23rd. This is the kickoff to the holiday season and will include wine and snacks, live music, dancing, and the illumination of Portofino’s Christmas tree. (Extra cost)
