Disney After Hours has added new dates from December 2018 – March 2019. This is a special ticketed event that allows guests into the Magic Kingdom with little to no wait times for rides. Snacks and drinks are also included. (Extra cost)
There are also new Disney After Hours events for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well. Both of these new events are on select dates into April 2019. (Extra cost)
Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land inside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now available on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Explore Toy Story Land with little to no wait times, and breakfast is included. (Extra cost)
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts returns January 18th and runs until February 25th. There will be a Disney on Broadway Concert Series each day at the America Gardens Theatre stage during the festival.
Kevin, the colorful bird from Up!, will start meeting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in February.
A new IllumiNations dining package is coming to Rose & Crown Dining Room in Epcot. It includes patio seating for a great view of IllumiNations, a prix fixe menu, and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. $85 per person 10 and up, $35 per child age 3-9.
Jaleo, a new restaurant coming to Disney Springs, will open this winter. It’s a 22,000 square foot restaurant with a design inspired by the artichoke.
Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel and White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel are undergoing refurbishments and will reopen in 2019.
Ballast Point, a California craft brewery and restaurant, will be open soon at Downtown Disney.
The Tropical Hideaway is now open inside Disneyland, located between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. You can try new Dole Whip flavors here including orange and raspberry!
Universal’s Mardi Gras begins February 9th and runs through April 4th. Each night enjoy a parade with street performers, and catch musical acts such as Bush, Gavin Degraw, Macklemore, Steve Miller Band, and Pitbull on certain nights. Universal’s New York area become New Orleans with cajun food and special drinks.
